Oriental Sunset - Sunsets Across the World

I have completed the first painting in my first series of paintings Sunsets Across the World, entitled "Oriental Sunset". I don't think it is a perfect painting, but I am quite happy with the outcome. I must continue to remind myself that I am not truly an arist (at least not yet). I have never had any formal training and just started painting a few weeks ago.

I am an art enthusiast and born again artist. Over the past 8 years I've been in the internet marketing and web development business which has been quite lucrative. Over the past year I have taken on a well known artist as one of my clients which has stimulated my passion for art again. I formed a new company Art Sidewalk to help all artists make money by selling limited edition prints of their original artwork. During this new adventure I found the itch to start painting myself.
